The Day Tour Company - Fraser Island 3 Day Tour

Fraser Island is a magnet for visitors and locals alike. Its sheer size as the largest sand island in the world makes this a true natural wonder. The awesome experience of driving along a beach which stretches as far as the eye can see. This tour provides one of the few opportunities to experience the beauty of this World Heritage region.

On your first day you will travel from Brisbane or the Gold Coast past the Glasshouse Mountains and through the Gold Mining town of Gympie to Rainbow Beach, here you will join your 4WD adventure vehicle.

Travel along 75 Mile Beach to Eurong Beach Resort where we make a brief stop for lunch. After lunch we travel further along the beach visiting Lake McKenzie or Lake Birrabeen, central station and Wangoolba Creek before returning to Eurong to check into your accommodation.

Following Breakfast on day two the day is free for you to explore. Lie by the pool, participate in a range of water sports, bushwalk through this pristine wilderness or take one of the optional tours of the island. It is also possible to hire a self drive 4WD when available, or maybe try a spot of fishing or tennis.

Breakfast and time to relax by the pool or walk along the beach. For the adventurous, why not take a joyflight (own expense) over beautiful Fraser Island. Rejoin the 4WD vehicle at approximately 3pm for your return to Rainbow Beach and returning to Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
