Debuting during the 2005 whale watching season is the brand new vessel the Tasman Venture, a luxury twenty meter catamaran which cruises through the water at twenty five knots.

Join the experienced and friendly crew of the Tasman Venture for an up close and personal encounter with the majestic humpback whales as they stop in at the sheltered waters of Hervey Bay. 

August to October marks the annual migration of the giant mammals from their home Antarctica to warmer waters near the Great Barrier Reef to mate and give birth. The return journey includes a playful visit to Hervey Bay where they delight us with a magnificent display of aquatic acrobats.

Witness the gentle creatures teach their calves how to breach, and almost touch their barnacle covered skin as they lunge and spy hop just meters from the boat.
